Malaysia's economic highlight
Malaysia has suffered a blow on its economic growth as its GDP sliped to 4.2% last year. However, the country’s domestic growth demand grew by 6.3% in 2016 while its external demand decreased to negative 12.4%. Meanwhile, the value of Ringgit also suffered a 20-year low against interest rates of the United States which paved the way for capital outflows coming from emerging markets. However, experts forecast that the economic growth of Malaysia will soon pick up this year.
